Why not try our farm-to-table Cupcakes? Our cupcakes are made with our organic Soft White flour, sourced from Creston Valley and milled fresh by us. We then add eggs from our farm, cream, and organic Madagascar vanilla bean paste that we scraped fresh from the pod. The result is a soft, nutty, moist cake with a creamy vanilla bean flavour.
On top is a swirling dollop of raspberry cream cheese frosting made with real organic freeze-dried raspberries. The natural acidity from the raspberries gives the frosting a nice bright pop which accentuates the real raspberry flavour.
These cupcakes come frozen. You'll be able to keep them on hand and break them out on any special occasion. No need to go all the way to the grocery store or bakery.
About our Tulaberry Cupcakes
The Tulaberry cupcake was inspired by our farm mentors Judi and Alex. They have been farming in the Kootenays for over 30 years. Their farm, called Tulaberry Farm, was once home to a legendary raspberry field. Every year at the Nelson farmers market Judi would sell her famous raspberries and homemade raspberry juice.
Tulaberry Farm is now where we farm. This cupcake is a homage to all the hard work that Judi and Alex have done over the years and a thank-you for giving us the opportunity to accomplish our dream of starting our very own farm on their property.
Sold in a box of 12 or 6 cupcakes.
Cupcake: Freshly milled organic Soft White flour, butter, cream, egg (Tulaberry Farms) sugar, vanilla bean paste, pink Himalayan salt, baking powder.
Frosting: Cream cheese, butter, sugar, freeze-dried raspberries, cream, vinegar.
Take out of the freezer and let thaw on the counter for 2 hours before serving at room temperature.
