Description:This Grass-Fed Asiago Cheese was made with fresh raw milk from Koootenay-raised, grass-fed Jersey cows raised by Jerseyland Organics Farm in Grand Forks. 

Asiago cheese originates from the Asiago plateau in Italy. It's made from a mixture of whole and skimmed milk and is aged for longer periods (up to two years). The flavor is more robust and nutty, similar to Parmesan, with a firmer and crumbly texture.
