About Our Buttermilk Biscuits
For our Buttermilk Biscuits we started by milling locally-grown Soft White grain into a light and fluffy whole wheat flour. Soft White flour is low in gluten and has a sweet and buttery flavour - perfect for biscuits. We then incorporated butter, buttermilk and organic BC cream. Each biscuit is then hand-shaped and layered to create that classic flaky texture.
Each package contains 6 frozen Buttermilk Biscuits
Ingredients: Freshly milled organic Soft White flour (grown by Fieldstone Organics, Armstrong, milled by Confluence Farms), butter, organic cream, buttermilk, organic sugar, baking soda, baking powder, pink Himalayan salt.
Manufactured in a facility that processes peanuts, walnuts, wheat, and dairy.
Preheating oven to 400f.
Remove biscuits from freezer and place 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Melt butter on the stovetop. Once melted brush biscuits with butter and sprinkle flaked sea salt on top.
Cook biscuits for 25 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
