Jalapeño Poppers

 

Ingredients

About 1 lb Jalapeños 

1 package bacon 

Original Cream Cheese or Onion and Chive Cream Cheese

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 f.

Slice each jalapeño in half and scoop out the seeds. 

Using a butter knife, scoop cream cheese into each jalapeño half, spreading it so the cavity is completely filled. Then, hold the knife flat against the cut edge of the pepper and gently scrape along the top to remove any extra cream cheese, leaving a smooth, even surface.

Wrap each jalapeño half in a slice of bacon, then place the poppers on a baking sheet. 

Bake in the middle rack of the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the bacon is done to your liking.

Let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
