FARM NEWS

Thanks For All Of Your Support! 🥰

We received the most orders we’ve ever gotten this week. So many in fact that we had to wake up in the middle of the night to start packing them. We were worried we weren’t going to be able to get them all done before it got dark again, so we started our route while it was still dark out - hence the blurry photo. It was a good thing we had our van Moby because we filled it up!

Getting an overwhelming amount of orders is always a bitter sweet moment. We’re thrilled to be getting so much support from the community but having to fulfill all of those orders with just two people is an absolute grind. I’m not sure how we pulled it off but we managed to get it. Building a localized food system has not been an easy journey, but it sure has been a rewarding one. Thanks again for all of your support!

Delivery Reminders

Just a reminder that our next delivery day will be tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 21st. Today will be your last chance for delivery if you want it for tomorrow so be sure to place your orders.

We’re doing a special Christmas Eve delivery on Saturday, Dec 24th. If you would like your delivery for that day just let us know in the notes section or email us after you place your order.

Next week we’ll also be offering a Thursday Dec 29th delivery instead of our usual Sunday delivery because of New Years. We’ll mention this again next week to remind you.

NEW PRODUCT

Christmas Morning Bake-At-Home Cinnamon Buns With Cream Cheese Frosting

Emily’s family has had a long-standing tradition of making cinnamon buns for Christmas morning. The smell of yeast and cinnamon. The soft pull-apart buns. The tangy vanilla cream cheese frosting that slowly melts into the cracks and crevasses. Yum!

This is a bakery-quality dessert that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home with minimal mess or clean up. What more could a you ask for?

About Our Bake-At-Home Cinnamon Buns

For these cinnamon buns we started with a 100% whole wheat Anita’s pastry flour. The whole wheat gives it an added depth of flavour while also providing vitamins and minerals that are completely void in white flour. We then added the filling, made from butter, brown sugar, a hint of organic nutmeg and our secret ingredient - organic true cinnamon.

True cinnamon is made from the tender inner bark of the cinnamon tree. It has a more subtle and elegant cinnamon flavour compared to the more commonly used cassia cinnamon, which can have a harsh and spicy cinnamon flavour.

To top it all off we have included a side of tangy vanilla cream cheese frosting. The whole wheat flour combined with the tangy frosting and sweet cinnamon swirls gives these cinnamon buns a great balance and an unforgettable flavour.

Includes 4 unbaked cinnamon buns in an aluminum pie tin and one container of vanilla cream cheese frosting
