
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats (freshly rolled is best, I use Treasure Life Oats that we carry in our farm store)
4 cups water
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp true cinnamon
pinch of salt
Instructions
Soak the oats in the water for 1 hour.
Add the the oats, water, and the rest of the ingredients to a blender. Blend briefly, until the oats are the size of a coarse cereal.
Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl. Pour the mixture into the strainer and allow all of the liquid to drain off before discarding the oat pieces.
Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for later use. Make sure you shake it vigorously before pouring because it will separate!
